Describe the problem the way you'd say it out loud. You'll get two or three questions back — the ones that actually change the price — and then a range you can plan around.
Most contractor "instant quote" tools are a dropdown menu wearing a costume. This one reads what you wrote and works out what actually matters — including what shouldn't cost you anything.
"How long is the run of cabinets" prices a job. "How many cabinets" doesn't. You can answer in normal terms — about as wide as a washer and dryer is a real answer.
Cabinets fell and left holes in the wall? The new cabinets cover them. That's not a line item, and you'll see it listed at zero with the reason.
Panel work, water heaters, gas, roofing — it won't quote them. It names the right trade and we'll hand you someone we'd use ourselves.
